Dr. Pouya Tayyebi is assistant professor of vascular surgery in Babol University of Medical Sciences. He is a board certified vascular surgeon who specializes in the open and endovascular treatment of vascular disease. He obtained his subspeciality degree in vascular surgery from the Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in 2017. He performed his general surgery residency at Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences and obtained board certification in general surgery in 2014.
Dr. Tayyebi's research interests include the aortic aneurysm and dissection management by the application of endovascular technologies, new therapeutic strategies for the management of vascular trauma, cerebrovascular diseases, occlusive diseases of the lower extremities, mesenteric ischemia, vascular access for hemodialysis, chronic venous insufficiency, deep venous thrombosis and radiation safety.
His theses project was looking at the comparision of patency time in basilic vein transposition and prosthetic brachioaxillary access grafts in hemodialysis patients.
